Meet the 30 participants heading to London for Youth Business International Bootcamp 2024

This June, Youth Business International (YBI) will be hosting our first-ever bootcamp for young entrepreneurs. 30 individuals supported by YBI members have been selected from over 400 applicants to have a unique opportunity to learn from impact entrepreneurship experts, collaborate with peers from around the world, and be shortlisted for the Global Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award during a five-day bootcamp in London, UK this June.

We were truly inspired to learn about hundreds of youth businesses focused on achieving a positive social and environmental impact for the future. The team would like to thank the young entrepreneurs and their supporting YBI members for sharing their business journeys with us.

We are pleased to introduce you to the 30 successful applicants who will be joining us this year. You can view their profiles here. Among the participants are:

  • Young entrepreneurs from 20 countries and five continents
  • Businesses supported by 22 YBI members
  • 53% women-owned businesses

Throughout the week in June, we’ll be sharing how participants are advancing their leadership skills, collaborating on solving entrepreneurial challenges through new international perspectives and establishing global human connections with other entrepreneurs and inspirational business leaders. At the end of the week, the nine finalists of the Global Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards – three per award category – will be announced. A public vote to decide the category winners will open in July.

Jo Gray, YBI’s Director of Membership Services and Engagement, has commented on this new opportunity for our members and their entrepreneurs.

It’s very exciting to host our first in-person Bootcamp for young entrepreneurs. The YBI Network is driven by the core principles of connection and collaboration and we can’t wait to do that at our Global Summit later this year. This new offering will allow us to extend that connection and invite young entrepreneurs to collaborate and benefit from the value that a global network can offer.  We’re looking forward to welcoming them all to London to learn more about them and their businesses and to see how their Bootcamp experience can help their businesses thrive.
