Youth Business International (YBI) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) are working together to support displaced young Ukrainian entrepreneurs to rebuild and grow their businesses in Poland.
Implemented by YBI member Youth Business Poland (YBP), this initiative builds on the success of our 2024 Hackathon for displaced young Ukrainians and now includes Business Bridge — a Bootcamp designed to strengthen resilience, innovation, and business growth among displaced young Ukrainian entrepreneurs.
Over an intensive three-week programme in Warsaw and Gdańsk, participants gained practical tools, mentorship, and connections to help them develop and scale their ventures. Most were women entrepreneurs determined to restart their businesses, contribute to their host communities, and support Ukraine’s long-term economic recovery.
Through Business Bridge in 2025 and the Hackathon in 2024, YBI, EBRD, and YBP empowered displaced young Ukrainian entrepreneurs with the skills, networks, and confidence they need to create sustainable livelihoods and drive inclusive economic growth in Poland and beyond.
