Seeking Economic Empowerment and Resilience for Refugees and Migrants (SEER) second extension

Youth Business International (YBI) is now delivering the second extension of its successful initiative, Seeking Economic Empowerment and Resilience for Refugees and Migrants (SEER), supported by Accenture.

The programme supports young people with the skills, confidence and opportunities to pursue entrepreneurship through training, mentoring and access to relevant resources.

Additionally, YBI will support its members in building their capacity to deliver these programmes and wider programmes for refugees and migrants through knowledge sharing and peer learning opportunities. This will include a community of practice and other cross-learning activities.

This second extension will run for a further 12 months, delivered in partnership with members of the YBI Network in each country: KIZ (Germany), Youth Business Spain, NyföretagarCentrum (Sweden), and The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network (TERN, UK). The extension aims to support a further 1,273 young migrants and refugees to start and grow businesses. Previous iterations have already supported more than 3,000 young people across France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Sweden.
