Introducing the EYE Academy

YBI’s online learning experience platform for Excellence in Youth Entrepreneurship

Youth Business International is pleased to announce the January 2026  launch of the EYE Academy, a new online learning and community platform dedicated to supporting excellence in youth entrepreneurship.

Meet the EYE Academy

Young entrepreneurs are the engine of innovation and growth, but too often they lack access to the right training and networks to succeed. Youth Business International’s EYE Academy addresses this gap – bringing together entrepreneurs, support organisations, mentors, and coaches on one inclusive platform. With tailored resources, live and on-demand training, and a vibrant community and peer network. It turns YBI’s 25 years of expertise into accessible, practical support that helps young entrepreneurs grow their businesses and boost economic impact locally and globally.

The EYE Academy is an interactive, regularly updated library of the best youth entrepreneurship training for catalysing support and scaling sustainable, inclusive youth businesses. Built on learnings from the YBI Learning Portal, it will replace this platform at launch.

Who is it for?

ESOs and entrepreneurship practitioners and mentors

YBI members will have access to the EYE Academy as part of their annual membership, while non-members and practitioners can purchase subscriptions. There are special features for organisation leaders, with a peer-support group for CEOs (or equivalent), complete with YBI’s learning resources specifically designed to support leaders.

Young entrepreneurs

Existing and aspiring young business owners will access resources that have been co-designed with YBI members to help them start or scale their business. Examples include using AI to develop water-tight sales pipelines, embedding sustainability through their business practice, and providing a decent work environment.

Whether a business owner or an ESO practitioner, a key feature of the EYE Academy is the community aspect, with forums and direct message abilities that allow users to connect and learn with like-minded peers.

What to expect

  • All the resources that users already enjoy in the YBI Learning Portal, but in an easier-to-use and enhanced EYE Academy format
  • New and Exclusive self-paced learning resources and live events
  • The ability to earn credentials –  boost your credibility, and strengthen your professional profile
  • Anytime, anywhere access, including mobile and tablet app versions
  • Improved translation and accessibility features throughout the Academy
  • More substantial community features: users can follow ‘spaces’ or topics and connect on a one-to-one basis, in specific course discussions, as well as through forums

Designed with accessibility and inclusivity at its core, the EYE Academy ensures that youth entrepreneurship support, regardless of geography, language, or learner needs, is equitable, relevant, and accessible.
