Responding to the riots in the UK

The riots currently taking place across the UK are shocking and frightening.

The unacceptable violence fuelled by racism, Islamophobia and misinformation stands in opposition to YBI’s values of celebrating inclusion and diversity. Our thoughts are with the individuals in our team, community and beyond whose lives and businesses are being threatened.

We stand with all Muslims, Black, Asian and minoritised people including migrants and refugees who are currently being targeted by the riots and we denounce all and any racist or divisive rhetoric or actions.  

As YBI we stand together with all our colleagues and we’re grateful for the rich diversity of our team in the UK and our members and partners around the world.
