Implementing Youth Entrepreneurship Support Programmes

Toolkits

We are pleased to share with you a practical handbook, produced by YBI in collaboration with Global CAD (The Centre of Partnerships for Development) – ‘Implementing Youth Entrepreneurship Support Programmes’. Funded by the IDB Lab, the innovation laboratory of the IDB group, through its partnership with YBI on the Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP) for Latin America and the Caribbean, the publication shares best practices and experiences for the benefit of youth entrepreneurship practitioners, covering a range of areas:

  • Outreach and Entrepreneur Selection
  • Training
  • Mentoring
  • Access to Finance
  • Access to Markets
  • Business Support and Aftercare Services

The guide not only advises on what to consider when developing programmes, it also identifies problems and possible solutions, provides lessons learned from the YBI network, in particular from members in the LAC region, and includes case studies and practical tools to help them succeed.
