About Mebala Youth Studios

Mebala Youth Studios is a youth oriented non-governmental organisation that aims to develop skills, talents and ambition, not just in the beneficiaries of their programmes, but also in the young people working at their Centre.

Mebala Youth Studios’ programmes are run for the youth and by the youth with all programmes designed and facilitated by young people. Their vision for their first centre in Botswana, Lady Olebile Masire National Youth Centre, is to become, besides a place of training, an economic hub of inclusive, sustainable and creative activities. Mebala’s programmes run through the following five studios:

Youth Entrepreneurship
Creative Skills Development
Mental Health Advocacy and Sports
Human Rights and Community Development
Environmental Sustainability
