Generation for change: Shaping the future of youth entrepreneurship

This year’s Summit will be taking place over three days in Nairobi, Kenya from 8-10 October 2024 and the theme is Generation for change: Shaping the future of youth entrepreneurship

This is your opportunity to be part of the collective commitment to addressing the urgent topics of our time, and having a transformative impact through youth entrepreneurship. GYES 2024 promises a week of connection, inspiration and celebration.

Across the three days you’ll hear from inspiring young entrepreneurs, respected businesses leaders and entrepreneurship practitioners, as well as attending multi-formatted interactive sessions, networking and workshops.

The cross cutting themes of responsible entrepreneurship, innovative business and diverse support will give us a chance to accelerate learning and deep-dive into  key and emerging themes in the sector, driving collaboration shaping the future of youth entrepreneurship

Day 1 Connection:  hearing inspiring stories from young entrepreneurs who are leading to drive a generation for change and exploring what works across the network to drive responsible entrepreneurship, innovative business and diverse support.

Day 2 Inspiration : Exploring the pressing issues of our time: social and green entrepreneurship, sustainability and climate change, diversity and inclusion, artificial intelligence and innovation.. Though a Summit-wide learning festival we will see the collaborative power of the network come to life as we exchange knowledge and skills inspiring action.

Day 3 Celebration:  – Before the afternoon’s Ufahamu visits meeting impressive local young entrepreneurs, the whole network will come together to celebrate and explore how to put into practice the learning of the Summit.
