Unleashing the power of youth entrepreneurship as a force for good

 This year’s Summit will be taking place over three days in the Netherlands from 18-20 October 2022 and the theme is Unleashing the power of youth entrepreneurship as a force for good.

Over three days we  will shine a light on the inspiring young people from across our network and showcase how their businesses are addressing global issues like hunger and climate change, driving forward the green economy and plugging gaps in social welfare.

The Summit will bring together the leading experts, influencers, funders and decision makers in youth entrepreneurship. This will be a momentous occasion for our network. Our chance to reflect, connect and collaborate in person after the challenges of recent years. 

The themes of each day will give us a chance to accelerate learning on key and emerging themes in the sector, drive collaboration and partnership, as well as discuss and debate the core elements of entrepreneurship support

Day 1 – Tackling global and social challenges through entrepreneurship – what are the challenges and barriers to success; how can we ensure more young people have the skills and support to set up businesses that are tackling global social issues; who can we convene to work with us and grow our knowledge and support to really make a difference.

Day 2 – Responsible and Inclusive Business – we will look at the trends in responsible business and explore how entrepreneurship could help to deliver the Social in ESG. How do we enable truly inclusive business with a focus on Indigenous programs; inclusive mentoring and insights from programs supporting disability.

Day 3 – Leadership  and the future  – we know leaders in the YBI network often work in isolation with limited access to leadership development. We are looking to work with our CEOs to create and offer a practical development and support space to galvanise YBI leadership.
