James Caan CBE to present Youth Business International’s BBC Radio 4 Appeal

During the week of 27th October 2019, Youth Business International (YBI) will be the charity in the spotlight for the BBC Radio 4 Appeal.

James Caan CBE will present our appeal. As a successful entrepreneur and investor, James is well placed to share YBI’s work supporting underserved young people around the world to fulfil their entrepreneurial potential.

Our appeal

In our appeal we share the story of Tahmina Kabir, a young entrepreneur supported by YBI’s member in Bangladesh. With the skills training, mentoring and financial support she received, Tahmina now runs a thriving fabric business and is supporting herself, her family and the wider community.

James is well known as a former Dragon on the BBC’s Dragon’s Den. He was awarded a CBE in 2015 for his services to entrepreneurship and charitable work. YBI is proud to have James as the presenter for our appeal. His passion for supporting young entrepreneurs and enthusiasm for our work really shine through.
