New member announcement: The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund

Youth Business International is pleased to welcome The Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF) as our newest member to our global network.

Established in 2016, LSETF, headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria, is creating an enabling environment for youth entrepreneurship to support job creation and wealth generation.

They have impacted 40,000 MSMEs, generating 200,000 direct and indirect jobs

LSETF has demonstrated dedication to empowering micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through their interventions. They have impacted 40,000 MSMEs, generating 200,000 direct and indirect jobs. Additionally, LSETF has facilitated access to skill development initiatives, particularly targeting youth and women in rural and peri-urban areas.

At YBI, we share LSETF’s commitment to reducing unemployment and delivering inclusive youth entrepreneurship support. With a robust network of local and international partners, LSETF works to equip young entrepreneurs with the necessary skills, resources, and affordable financing to nurture and scale their businesses. Their approach includes dedicated learning and development opportunities, capacity building, mentorship, and initiatives promoting digital and financial inclusion, along with access to markets.

Together, we will continue to foster a thriving ecosystem where youth entrepreneurship flourishes, driving economic growth and creating lasting opportunities for all. We look forward to collaborating with LSETF to further amplify our collective impact and empower even more young entrepreneurs in Lagos, Nigeria, and beyond.
