YBI Welcomes Three New Members to our Global Network Committed to Empowering Young Entrepreneurs

We are pleased to welcome three new member organisations to our Global Network, joining us on our mission to empower young entrepreneurs worldwide. AFI in Greece, Fetola in South Africa, and IMPACT SQUARE in South Korea are joining forces with us to increase their impact in their respective country and contribute to the global ecosystem of youth entrepreneurship.

AFI, a non-profit organisation in Greece, has been at the forefront of providing access to finance through microloans to unemployed individuals and small businesses. In addition to offering microcredits, AFI also provides free training and support to empower young entrepreneurs. By joining YBI’s Global Network, AFI aims to leverage our resources and expertise to enhance their efforts in supporting youth entrepreneurship and self-employment.

Fetola, a pioneering organisation established in 2006, is dedicated to catalysing the growth of the small business sector in South Africa. Over the past 16 years, Fetola has evolved into a multifaceted business that nurtures the sustainability and success of businesses and young entrepreneurs across Africa. Through their collaboration with YBI, Fetola aims to tap into our Global Network’s expertise and expand their impact on a global scale. Fetola’s Founder and CEO, Catherine Wijnberg, says:

“Africa has its challenges, but with a growing youth population it’s also a continent of huge economic potential. Fetola’s partnership with Youth Business International is a powerful step towards greater opportunities for collaboration and cross pollination of ideas. We are really keen to contribute and be part of the network.”

IMPACT SQUARE, in South Korea is driven by the belief that the greatest impact is achieved when social and environmental values align with business objectives. They are committed to advancing the adoption of Impact Business principles. By joining YBI’s Global Network, Impact Square intends to collaborate with like-minded organisations and amplify their efforts in supporting impact-driven businesses and projects. IMPACT SQUARE’s CEO, Timothy Dho says:

“Becoming a member of YBI holds significant value in expanding the network for supporting young entrepreneurs, both domestically and globally. This partnership will further enhance IMPACT SQUARE’s growth by leveraging the invaluable insights and educational resources accumulated by YBI in the global arena.”

We are thrilled to welcome these three organisations to our Global Network, each bringing unique expertise and a strong commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs and their businesses. With our combined dedication, we will make a significant impact on youth entrepreneurship worldwide.
