YBI Welcomes Three New UK Members

YBI is pleased to announce the addition of three enterprise support organisations in the United Kingdom to our growing global network. New members bring unique expertise and commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds.

The Entrepreneurial Refugee Network (TERN)

TERN  is a pioneering social enterprise dedicated to empowering refugees to thrive through entrepreneurship. Their mission aligns perfectly with YBI’s goal of fostering inclusive entrepreneurship ecosystems worldwide. With a community of over 300 industry experts and entrepreneurs, TERN aims to launch 2,000 refugee-led businesses by 2025. We’re honored to have them join us in creating opportunities for refugees’ businesses.
Frédéric Kastner, co-Founder of TERN, says:

The School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE)

SSE is a leading provider of training and support for social entrepreneurs, charities, and social enterprises. Their practical courses and start-up programmes equip aspiring changemakers with the skills and knowledge to address social and environmental challenges effectively.
SSE’s dedication to responsible business practices enriches our network, and we’re excited to collaborate on initiatives that drive positive social change.

Launch It

Launch It  is on a mission to empower the next generation of business leaders from underrepresented communities. By providing workspaces, skills development training, and mentorship support, Launch It creates pathways for young entrepreneurs aged 18-30 to start and grow businesses. Their commitment to inclusivity and opportunity aligns perfectly with YBI’s values, and we’re thrilled to welcome them aboard.
Pat Shelley, CEO of Launch It, says:

Together with our first member in the UK, Hatch Enterprise , Launch It will help us deliver the YBI Bootcamp this summer.

Expanding Collaboration and Impact

Dirk Bischof, CEO of Hatch Enterprise UK, applauds the new UK additions to YBI’s global network, emphasising the importance of collaboration in leveling the playing field for overlooked founders. He says:

With these three outstanding new members joining YBI, we’re poised to amplify our impact and create even more opportunities for young entrepreneurs to thrive. Together, we’ll continue to build a more inclusive and committed global entrepreneurship community. Welcome aboard, TERN, SSE, and Launch It.
