Rafi Mohammad is the visionary entrepreneur behind Fixi Solutions AB, an innovative platform that enhances workshop efficiency and streamlines operations for stores while championing sustainability. Fixi seamlessly integrates sustainability into its core, from digitizing services to promoting a circular economy in the cycling industry by encouraging repairs over replacements.

The idea for Fixi was born from Rafi’s recognition of a growing societal need: “Embarking on the entrepreneurial journey with Fixi, this venture was born from recognizing a broader societal need for efficient urban mobility solutions that prioritize environmental sustainability.”

Since its inception, Fixi has made a significant impact on both Rafi’s life and the community. “The development of Fixi has taught me resilience and the effectiveness of a community-driven approach,” Rafi shares. “It has also highlighted the critical role businesses can play in promoting sustainable practices, contributing to environmental conservation, and fostering a culture of repair over replacement.”

Sustainability lies at the heart of Fixi’s operations, integrated into every aspect of its business model. The company’s dedication extends to its governance, where ethical practices and environmental stewardship are paramount. “Fixi represents a model of sustainable entrepreneurship, demonstrating how businesses can flourish while positively impacting the planet and society,” Rafi notes.

Rafi received support from YBI’s member in Sweden, NyföretagarCentrum Svergie, in the early stages of his entrepreneurial journey. “NyföretagarCentrum helped me in developing the business idea and creating a business plan, which was instrumental in securing loans and investments during the early phases of the company,” he explains.

Through Fixi, Rafi Mohammad exemplifies the transformative power of sustainable entrepreneurship. His dedication to innovation, sustainability, and community engagement positions him as a trailblazer in the cycling industry and beyond.

Rafi was a finalist in the Sustainable Entrepreneurship category at the YBI Global Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2024.
