Veronika Czarnocka is on a mission to revolutionize the fashion industry through sustainability and circularity. As the founder of INTU Circularity, Veronika is transforming how fashion handles waste, offering innovative solutions to give unsold clothing and textiles a second life. Her work is not just about changing the industry—it’s about creating a movement that makes circular fashion the new norm.

With years of experience in the fashion industry, Veronika saw first-hand its creative potential—and its devastating environmental and social consequences.

“After immersing myself in the clothing industry for many years, I found myself in what felt like a toxic relationship with the entire sector. I cherished its creative aspects but struggled to reconcile the environmental and social consequences it imposed,” Veronika explains.

Determined to make a difference, she returned to the industry with a fresh perspective. Instead of fighting against the industry giants, Veronika envisioned working with them to create meaningful change.

Veronika founded INTU Circularity to tackle the problem of fashion waste head-on. The company specializes in repairing, cleaning, and upcycling unsold clothing into trendy, fashionable pieces. INTU offers B2B clothing life extension services, helping brands embrace sustainable and circular practices.

Drawing inspiration from nature’s circular systems, INTU shows that even discarded items can serve endless purposes. “At INTU, we provide fashion and textile companies with solutions for repairing, cleaning, and upcycling clothes and unsold inventory,” says Veronika.

Since its founding, INTU Circularity has helped reshape how businesses approach waste, offering sustainable alternatives that align with the growing demand for environmentally friendly practices. Veronika’s ultimate goal is to make circularity and upcycling mainstream by forging partnerships with major fashion houses and clothing companies. She also plans to introduce options for reselling clothes, creating a full lifecycle for garments.

“Looking ahead, we aspire to make circularity and upcycling mainstream. This journey is not just about transforming an industry; it’s about inspiring a movement toward sustainable and circular fashion,” Veronika shares.

Veronika participated in YBI member Youth Business Poland’s ‘Impactful Leaders’ Acceleration Program, which is equipping her with the knowledge and skills to grow her business and build strong leadership within her company.

Veronika’s work is a testament to the power of entrepreneurship to create sustainable solutions for global challenges. By reimagining how the fashion industry operates, she is proving that creativity and sustainability can go hand in hand, paving the way for a future where fashion doesn’t harm the planet but nurtures it.

Veronika was a finalist in the Sustainable Entrepreneurship category at the YBI Global Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2024.
