The report highlights the collective impact of YBI’s global network, which supported 277,879 young people to develop entrepreneurship skills in 2025, empowered 24,173 young people start a business, and contributed to the creation of more than 368,640 new jobs worldwide. Behind every number is a young entrepreneur turning an idea into opportunity, creating jobs, strengthening communities, and driving economic growth.
This year also saw us expand our reach and deepen our impact. We welcomed 13 new members working across 25 countries, growing our network to 75 members operating in 78 countries at the end of 2025. We launched the YBI Africa Collaborative, a bold new initiative bringing members together to tackle systemic barriers to youth entrepreneurship and create lasting change across the continent.
Across our programmes, we continued to innovate and respond to emerging challenges and opportunities. From empowering young entrepreneurs to harness the power of AI through AI Ignite, to supporting refugee and migrant entrepreneurs through SEER, to expanding access to finance and helping high-growth businesses scale, our work remained focused on ensuring young people have the support they need to succeed.
The launch of this report also marks the conclusion of our 2022–2025 strategy. We are delighted to have achieved our headline target of supporting the creation of more than one million jobs through over 230,000 youth-led businesses across the three-year period — a testament to the power of our global network and the strength of our partnerships.
YBI is building on this momentum in 2026 with the launch of the Excellence in Youth Entrepreneurship (EYE) Academy, new and expanded programmes, and a refreshed strategy designed to reach and support even more young entrepreneurs globally.
